Our Story
Polverini and Wiater, PLLC traces its roots back to September 1, 2020, when the firm first opened its doors during one of the most challenging times in modern history—the COVID-19 pandemic. Founded as Polverini and Norman, PLLC, the firm was built on resilience, determination, and an unwavering commitment to serving clients in their most difficult moments.
In September 2023, the firm welcomed a new partner, Dennis Kittle, becoming Polverini, Norman, and Kittle, PLLC. While his tenure lasted only a year before he returned to his role as a prosecutor, that period reflected the firm’s adaptability and strength. When Kittle departed, the firm continued its mission as Polverini and Norman, PLLC.
Later, at the end of 2024, founding partner Josh Norman transitioned to public service as a prosecutor in Belmont County, Ohio. During that time, the firm became Polverini Law, PLLC, carrying forward its reputation for tenacity and client-focused advocacy.
The next chapter began in July 2025, when Justin Wiater joined as partner. With his addition, the firm entered its current chapter as Polverini and Wiater, PLLC—a partnership dedicated to building on a strong foundation while expanding its reach and impact.
A key milestone came in July 2023, when the firm established its office in the historic Cuomo Law Building in Wellsburg, West Virginia. This iconic building, long associated with the practice of law, has allowed the firm to honor a local legal tradition while continuing to deliver modern, results-driven representation.
